The circular reception desk under the skylight rotunda is the orientation center of the Ear Nose and Throat clinic. The layout of the clinic is conceived as a series of stops experienced by the patient from his registration at the reception desk, to his examination and consultation with a physician, and ending with his return to the reception desk to schedule future appointments and pay bills.

The clinic is a 7000sf (650sm) facility located in the commercial center of a suburban community along its busy main street. Across the street façade is stretched a 100ft (30m) long mural printed on a woven mesh fabric that employs the same fabrication techniques used for billboards. The lively graphics of the mural announce the clinic to passing motorists. It can also be changed with the ease and frequency of a commercial billboard, effectively giving a new face to the building each time The entrance and waiting area of the building has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, providing views both to the interior and exterior. The waiting area has a separate section for children and computer workstations with Wi-Fi for adults. The project was developed with the Rhode Island-based firm of S. Barzin Architect.
