Originally developed for the Barbados Ministry of Housing, ACHA tailored these designs as weekend getaway houses for young urbanites. The basic design uses simple framing construction and several options for finish materials to create a cost efficient house, suitable for a variety of climates and uses. 

The GetAway is part of a portfolio of ACHA designs which unveil simple, small and elegant abodes that offer ease to urbanites looking for a respite from city life. They can accommodate long or short-term stays, and include stand-alone residences complemented by optional separate or connected working spaces / extended-family suites located in rural, semi-rural, suburban and urban locations.
