When the owners joined two Hudson Street apartments together, their intention was to create an open loft, but simply joining the two apartments was not enough to create the sense of a single and expansive space. By designing long, linear cabinets and counters, ACHA lifted the two apartments into one seamless loft-like space. At the same time, by giving attention to detail and subtle changes in materials, ACHA gave character and definition to the different uses within the space.
